Pricing

 

We have a gender neutral pricing system based on hair length and time required for service,

Colour

To maintain our ethos of sustainable living, we are committed to using products that represent this throughout our salons, whilst honouring the exceptional skills and hard work of our team.

Our colour services are priced on a 'starting from' basis. The price may vary depending on time and the amount of product used alongside additional techniques used.

If you would like an accurate quote, that can be given after your consultation prior to any service starting. We are more than happy to work to a set budget if this is made clear during the consultation. If you would like an accurate quote we advise to book a free consultation before making any appointment where a stylist can break down the work required to achieve your desired results.

Consultations

If you are considering a new colour or complete restyle, our colour specialists/stylists offer a complimentary consultation where they will assess your hair and advise you on the process involved with achieving your hair goals. Keep in mind full colour changes or restyles can vary in price due to time product usage and the service required

The prices for all services are now divided into 3 categories:

Junior Stylist

Our junior stylist have completed their in house B&R training and are now confidently running a full column, please note these stylist range from 3-5 years of hairdressing experience. Advance colour technique appointments will usually will take a little longer. 

STYLIST

All of our stylists have over 5 years of experience working in the industry and have varied specialist skill sets, but all share a deep love and care for the environment, not just through our working practices in the salon but during their day-to-day lives as well. They are constantly learning and bettering themselves through various education pathways,

SENIOR STYLIST

Our senior stylists have over 10 years of experience in the industry, have extensive knowledge on sustainable haircare methods and products. They have an extensive range of specialties within their skillset that can cover the most difficult colour corrections and hard to maintain hair, and as a result have a very loyal client following. They are truly experts in their field and we have priced this accordingly.

Lead Stylist

Our lead stylist are the back bone of our salons, having worked with us for a number of years (some from the very day we opened). They have built up a loyal clientele & house a versatile skill set with years of experience. They can tackle all hair types/textures, along with huge colour changes. They have extensive knowledge of hair and the products we use, along side our core values, ethos and brand identity.

DIRECTOR

Co-founders Anita Rice and Stephen Buller have a shared love of the environment and over 20+ years working in the industry.

Anita has an encyclopedic knowledge of colour and the chemistry behind it, as well as a natural talent for styling and hair-ups. She is passionate about plant based green chemistry methods and working to maintain optimum hair health.

Stephen is known for his precise scissor work and extreme attention to detail, refined skin fades and excellent barbering techniques. Both have experience and knowledge of styling and cutting curly hair.

Dogs

 

We are a dog friendly salon. Feel free to bring your furry friend to your appointment. If you are not a fan or feel uncomfortable around dogs, please call to mention upon making your appointment and we can advise a time when it’s humans only.

Parking

 

Our Walthamstow salon has 2 parking spaces at the back of the salon. The entry is a narrow alleyway located at 167 Hoe Street under Outlook Property. Once you have entered the alleyway, follow round to the left - we are the first spaces with no gate and a new wooden fence. (Sign coming!) Sadly you can’t enter the salon via the back so you will need to walk back around the way you drove in. The Newington Green salon has no customer parking, only Pay and Display. However we advise you stick to the Hackney side as it’s much less expensive than Islington.

Colour Consultation

 

We advise all large colour changes or corrections appointments to be made via phone call. We also may ask you attend a free consultation appointment prior to booking. This is to determine the time/length of your appointment, and also to give you the most accurate quote.

Unhappy with Service

 

We allow extra time for every appointment to ensure we have a full consultation to understand our clients wishes. However if your service has turned out not exactly what was discussed during the consultation and you are unhappy with the results, we will of course amend it complimentary. We ask that you notify us within 2 weeks of your appointment.

Fringe Trims

 

We offer one complimentary fringe trim between appointments with the stylist you had your appointment with. We ask that you call in advance to make any fringe trim appointment. Please note if you do not regularly have your hair cut at B&R there will be an £8 charge. Occasionally walk-in appointments are available for fringe trims, but please keep in mind that you may be asked to return at a later time. We can only accommodate fringe trims on Saturdays if the appointment has been made in advance.

Booking the Wrong Service

 

We have different time slots for different services, so if you are unsure on what service you need to book please call or email so we can assist you. You may be turned away if you have not booked the correct service due to your stylist not having the correct amount of time.

Lateness & Cancellations

 

We provide a 10 minute grace period with our appointment timings. Please notify us in advance via phone call if you think you will be late to your appointment. We can only hold the appointment for 10 minutes before it starts to have an effect on other appointments throughout the day.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we appreciate it if you give us as much notice as possible. We only accept cancellations via phone call or email (if in advance). Please do not message on social media channels. If you cancel or rearrange your appointment within 24 hours, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. If you do not turn up to your appointment, you will be charged in full.

Children's Haircuts

 

We offer children’s hair cuts between 1pm - 5pm on weekdays only Outside of these timings the appointment will be charged at full price. 5 years old to 10 years old From £32.50. We do not accommodate children under 5 years old During the weekend, at all times the appointment will be full price. We can only take children's appointments via phone call. Please note if you have booked your child in under your own name via our website the appointment will be charged at full price.
